This was a ESPN league and I joined on a lark, and I'm glad I did.
About half the league dropped their level of interest to zero immediately in week one.
Which is why someone I was fighting with for a playoff spot, was playing an opponent in week 11 that was still starting Tony Romo at QB.

ESPN is funny in that when you move into the playoffs, they expect you to play the same team twice in two weeks to advance.
I didn't know that.
So, when I lost by just a few points in week one, I thought I was finished.
Imagine my surprise when I checked back a week later, and I discovered that I was playing in the Championship because my two week total was cumulatively higher than my opponent!

What I'm saying is I had a lot of fun, and made I friends with worthy opponents like "Backwards Bob" who is actually Backwoods Bob and a all around good sport.

Next year, I would like to see a serious DUFFL, with 12 teams, and a buy in to weed out the pretenders.
You want in, provide proof of a $50.00 donation to DU in say a 72 hour time frame.

We have fun and help DU in the process.
Because when there is money involved?
I'm like my "good friend" Backwards Bob.
