+++ NFL Playoffs: Wildcard Picks +++
Same drill as the regular weeks with one twist — miss a week and you're out of the totals. Miss one game and you're out. There are just four weeks and eleven games so it shouldn't be too much a committment. And we can crown a true champ.

Spreads will be posted three days before the first kickoff to allow ample time for everyone to post. If during any week you think you'll have a problem doing so, PM me with instructions what you want to do and I'll post for you. You can check out spreads at http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_point_spreads.shtml but understand they can/do change closer to game time. Wildcard playoffs start this Saturday, January 8th so we'll start today, Wednesday the 5th. Below are the spreads as of this morning. Ties will not count in standings.

Super Bowl spread will be posted on February 1st and will include a tie-breaking device of some kind.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Good luck.

1. Might as well get my wrong picks out of the way.
New Orleans
Indianapolis
Baltimore
Philly

The Jets are the only underdog that tempts me, but I just can't take them in Indy.

I've decided this is it for the regular standings. I'm only going to do playoff standings and just rank by wins since a percentage won't be necessary since we're all going to do the same amount of games. I think it is too much work to continue when 11 games isn't going to make a whole lot of difference. Plus RagAss has a comfortable enough lead I doubt he/she loses no matter what happens.

16. Congrats to RagAss!
Congrats to all the people who finished over .500. I've been picking the games every week since I was around 12, and this was one of the toughest years I can remember. Anyone over .500 did amazing, imo.

Thanks to Auggie for doing this each week, and to Jon for keeping it tallied all year. :toast:

22. Picking the games makes each week a lot more fun.
Why else would I care about a Lions/Raiders game? :D

You kicked ass this year. From week to week I had no idea who was going to do what. Whatever your formula was it worked. :)

11. I'll play.
I'm going all favorites.

Saints should Brees right through the pathetic Seahawks.

Colts win and cover.

Ravens should handle the young Chiefs.

Eagles win at home but this is probably a push on the line.

Saints over the Seahawks (by a lot)
Colts over the Jets.
Chiefs over the Ravens.
Eagles over the Packers, unless the Packers field a defense consisting of pit bulls, Dobermans and Rottweilers who will be running Vick out of the pocket all day long (drawing a roughing the passer penalty or two in the process).

19. Such a tiny number of games
New Orleans--tough I would be happy if Seattle won (just to piss people off)
NY Jets
Baltimore
PHILADELPHIA--I'm a Viking fan that lives less than an hour from Green Bay. It will be hard to live here if the Packers win playoff games.

I'm very happy they did, but there was no way I was going to pick them to win over the Colts in a playoff game.
