Rays trade Matt Garza to the Cubs for 5 minor league prospects.

They'll be competing with the Os and Jays for the bottom of the AL East now.

They can't let Hellickson collect dust in AAA forever.

5. I don't know if the Rays will spend any money, but there are still

players out there that could help this team. I think the Rays could still be pretty good if they go after some players and just don't sell off.

4. They originally traded Delmon Young for Garza and Jason Bartlett.

They got 4 prospects for Bartlett and 5 for Garza. The guys they got for Bartlett probably won't amount to much but a couple of guys in the Garza trade are expected to be pretty good. Not bad when you consider Delmon Young was a clubhouse cancer.
