What a great weekend for Baseball
For the first time since they started this crap in 97, they finally got some things right. I know they have been doing the regional rival theme o.k.

But this weekend we got to see Boston at the Cubs in what, 90 friggin years or something and the Yankees at the Cardinals in 30 years or so (hey, not MLB's fault the Yanks picked this year to implode).

What do y'all think inter-league play, Ya or Nay?

1. Nay (Down Vote)
The teams need to play the teams that they are competing with. And they don't get to play in the opposite park. And the NL has to come up with a DH. And the AL has to change their strategery for the NL park.

All in all, just junk to sell tickets.

9. MLB is the one sport
where I liked that teams from different leagues did not play each other until the World Series.

10. Yes, but...
What do you think of the Brewers changing leagues? (no disparaging remarks about Silig please!)

11. I never get why teams change leagues
or divisions.

14. I hated it at first

but now its kind of growing on me. We have much better rivalries now with St Louis and Chicago than we ever did with Minnesota or Cleveland or the White Sox. And Milwaukee had the long National Leage affiliation from the old Braves.

I dont like being stuck in a 6 team division.

And theres not as much history during interleague play, so Milwaukee gets snubbed. (When was the last time the Yankees played in Milwaukee? Oh, only a couple years ago. No big deal.)

12. I actually enjoyed this weekend
The Twins played the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. They have not played each other since the 1965 World Series. I enjoyed watching the games. Especially since Mudcat Grant was in the booth with Dick and Bert and gave a lot of insight about being a pitcher in the 1965 Series!

It RAWKED!

That being said, I wish the regular schedule was more balanced, it would be nice to play more games with teams outside the division versus 19 games each with teams in the division.

13. Yeah it was nice but I didnt enjoy what the Reds did to us
Its funny how the bigwigs are finally taking us seriously and we're not playing so great as of late, doing good but not doing great.
