John Madden 2006
Edited on Wed Jun-15-05 11:01 AM by ls317
NEW YORK -- John Madden is joining NBC as a game analyst for the network's newly acquired "Sunday Night Football," a network source told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The network scheduled an afternoon teleconference with Madden to make the announcement that he will join NBC when it begins televising football in the 2006 season, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

1. Does anyone really care to watch Madden, anymore?
I mean, really? Half the time I'd have the sound turned down on MNF, between him and Michaels' schtick.

2. Sad to Say
He must be doing something right to draw a check for more than 6 million a year... By just babbling

3. I can't listen to any kind of color analysis anymore.
Football, baseball, basketball...

It's the same painfully obvious commentary every game. If you know the game you really have NO use for color commentary.

I just turn the sound off.

4. He was fun to listen to many, many years ago
He is way past his prime now. I don't understand why the networks keep falling over themselves to get him.
