1. Speculation..
I voted in the poll though...and I see almost 63% think this Mike guy is full of it.

Btw, the 49ers are said to be looking closely at Ricky Stanzi...you think he'll make a good pro?

3. Hard to say, Upton.
I've been reading all this shit saying he's the next Tom Brady. Smart kid. Who know's with the right coach? I'll say this. I wish we had the 2009 Stanzi. For all the pick sixes, he was there at crunch time. This past year, not so much.

9. Thanks Condem..
Seems to be some questions about his decision making and accuracy, but those comebacks he's led are impressive. Who knows how far you guys would have gone if he hadn't have gotten injured against Northwestern. He's got poise. I think he'd make a great NFL QB in the right system. Harbaugh and Stanzi sounds mighty good to me. For the most part, he's getting the thumbs up on the 49er boards too..

Now, resigning on his own....another matter altogether.

10. not gonna happen
Jim very well might have to leave OSU because he wanted to resign but Urban Meyer will not be the
new coach .... pure rumor.

Meet the next head coach of OSU ... Luke Fickle .... and the buckeye train will keep right on rolling and the rest
of the College Football world will wish to be as good looking, fast, strong, successful. and wonderful as THE OHIO
STATE UNIVERSITY

BTW the 2010 season ... oh what the hell it didn't count anyway .... the NCAA is gonna whack that season good.

11. First, Jim Tressel has a job for as long as he wants it. If he gets another B1G title or two and
another 5 wins agaisnt tsun, they'll make a statue of him in Columbus.

didn't want that job so much anymore. So much for him being invisible. Wonder what Urban is up to these days?

Meyer was saying most of last week he had never even been offered the job..I know he made that claim during the Nebraska/Wisconsin game weekend before last. You just can't believe anyone anymore...these guys lie like politicians..

25. I'll be the first to congratulate all Buckeye fans. A great hire. In fact, perfect.
I think Michigan's victory party just lasted one year. The stakes just got raised for every school in the Big Ten. To be the man, you got to beat the man. And Urban's achieved it twice in the toughest conference in America. Here's hoping his health holds out.

27. I'll counter with this piece, Tru.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/16270672/forget-the-other-stuff-meyer-is-perfect-hire-for-buckeyes It's going to be tough with the upcoming sanctions but Urban will have no problem recruiting. In fact, with the demise of Penn State he could own the eastern seaboard. Plus, a pipeline to Fla. No one can predict shit but if his health holds out, I see nothing to stop him at OSU. Throw in a few free tattoos, and it should be Big Ten Champs every year. Just like Tressell. Time will tell.

28. but that is the problem
Florida was the premier destination for high school players after Florida won their first NC with Meyer.

But yet he still recruited horribly the last couple of years.

Add on that Gators had more players arrested than any football program the last several years and you have in mho, a very overrated football coach.
