Maragh suspended seven days for Belmont ride
From thoroughbredtimes.com: Jockey Rajiv Maragh will serve a seven-day suspension for his ride on Isn’t He Perfect in the Belmont Stakes (G1) on Saturday.

The Daily Racing Form reports that Maragh received a ten-day suspension but three days were eliminated when the jockey waived his right of appeal.

Isn’t He Perfect came over on Mucho Macho Man in the opening stages of the Belmont Stakes, causing a chain reaction in which Mucho Macho Man clipped heals with Animal Kingdom and nearly unseated jockey John Velazquez on the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1) winner. The bobble virtually eliminated any chance Animal Kingdom had of winning the race.

The Form reports that stewards decided that Maragh failed to straighten out Isn’t He Perfect and that his mount was not clear of the horses to his inside.

3. Animal Kingdom Injured, to Miss Some Time
From bloodhorse.com: Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Animal Kingdom has suffered an injury to his left hind leg, Team Valor International president Barry Irwin confirmed June 16.

Dr. Dean Richardson of the New Bolton Research Center examined a nuclear scan June 15 that indicated that something was amiss with the colt's left hock. On June 16 both Richardson and Dr. Larry Bramlage of Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington examined radiographs of the hock and discovered a small fissure on the tip of the cannon bone where it joins the lower part of the hock.

The injury is thought to have occurred at the start of the June 11 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) when Animal Kingdom was bumped by Mucho Macho Man, causing him to clip heels with another horse and stumble badly while nearly unseating jockey John Velazquez. New York stewards June 15 handed a seven-day suspension to jockey Rajiv Maragh for careless riding for initiating the incident.
