the long flop provided the extra time for the goal and the ref forced herself into having to give the US a rekick. That's karmic justice there.

pissed me off so much and then they were losing in OT so I couldn't bear to watch and missed the final US goal...fortunately they keep shwoing it over and over and over.

Loved the result but could have done without the post-match jingoistic talk. It's just a game, you're athletes and did what you were supposed to do. It doesn't tell us anything about the country as a whole.
