unless he's a minority owner, what reason does he have to be there?

He didn't catch one ball or throw one pitch. He never had an at-bat. He didn't make a trade. He didn't call a game. He didn't clean the stadium or wash a jock strap. So why is he there?

10. Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, and Leon Panetta were there too
Panetta, the new CIA director, is a Giants fan. Pelosi represents San Francisco in the House. Feinstein is also a native of SF. The new mayor of SF also showed up. Basically, officials who are connected to SF in some way or are Giants fans in general got to be there.
