the Yanks have traded away some young talent (Johnson and Soriano) and pitching for an aging team. Not good. But as a Red Sox fan, it's nice to see that all the Yankees' money couldn't buy them a good team this year.

I think hes a bad owner but like his politics, the fact that our politics are the same is pure concidence, its like oh its nice but I could careless, the O's were when I was a little kid owned by Eli Jacobs a big RNC donor. I got in to sports before I got in to politics, I think they should be seperate with the exception of say 55 years ago when you had some bigoted owners who were against integrating the league.

but if I recall hes one of the best labor lawyers in the state of Maryland and was at one point I saw in the top ten of donors to the DNC. Thats all good but baseball is my way out of politics, same goes with football, I like the Steelers because I admire the team's history and identify more with Pittsburgh football than I do Washington or Baltimore, dont know why, I Guess you could say I was infleuenced strongly by a friend of mine who is from pittsburgh.
