Steele Jantz- Iowas State QB -- FUN to watch and very good
He had a play that was called back that was the closest thing I have seen to the Doug Flutie-Miami play

THEN he finished that drive with a QB sneak/Tebow jump pass with a scramble and pinpoint accurate throw to the other side for a touchdown.

They are in double overtime - both have scored. PAT to go to third OT.

Steele Jantz is a JUCO (City of San Francisco CC) transfer. Not a small guy either but really quick and very accurate and he can throw long.

Lots of fun to watch.

Iowa State 44 - Iowa 41
3 overtimes
Iowas settled for a FG and Jantz option pitched (Utah offense) to James White for the win.

GREAT game that I stumbled upon early in the day.

2. Jantz and ISU take the Cy-Hawk Trophy in 3 OT
Edited on Sat Sep-10-11 03:25 PM by KamaAina
44-41 after Iowa settled for a figgie in the third OT (on 4th and 1, after a dumb ISU substitution penalty!).

I had no idea Jantz had an SF connection! Maybe the Niners can draft him and put Alex Smith out to pasture. :eyes:

Oh yes, keep Condem away from the sharp objects.

3. I think I heard a very very faint exploding sound...
all the way from Ohio. I'm pretty sure it was Condem's head.

6. No Cy-Hawk trophy for Iowa this year. Hey, Ohio State gave up the most points
to an Ohio team since 1909! They barely beat Toledo. Maybe Toledo will go out and kick Boise State's ass next week!! Love to see El's response to that.
