The latest security breach came last night, when the Marlins' new 2012 logo began circulating. At first it wasn't clear whether it was legit or just some Photoshopper's concept, but Uni Watch has confirmed that it is in fact the real deal. This is what the team will be wearing next year when it's rebranded as the Miami Marlins."

Izzy, better known as Whatizit because no one could figure out how the organizers had been so stupid.

Admittedly, I despise baseball. It's been another perfect season, literally not watching a single at bat. But as a Miamian I was pleased the Marlins would adopt the name of the city. Previously I thought the only things recommending the franchise were two fluked championships and a great logo.

Maybe this will inspire the hockey Panthers to change their logo, the only thing they have going for them.
