1. Yes, in a way
Stockpiling draft choices have really benefitted the organization. And this year, a "rebuilding" year, has turned out better than I would have expected. Love the pitching, and that's what's keeping them in the hunt for the wildcard (plus the sucking sound of the Red Sox pitching). What's sad is that the last six games are at home, and I'm afraid you'll see attendance lower than it should be. It's really sad to see an organization that has climbed the ladder having a difficult time bringing in fans. A new stadium, or a possible move to another city, would probably be the best alternative.
