Why do fans get to vote for All-Stars if
the game actually counts for something? I'm a Cards fan, so I voted for the worst American Leaguer I could find on the ballot at any position, and you just know AL fans did that to us, too.

If this is to determine home field, why should the fans have a say? If they have to vote, go back to making the game meaningless.

Just my two cents.

on the Milwaukee Brewers.

2. It is sheer folly that the ASG has a bearing on home field
advantage in the WS. The ASG that ended in a tie is to blame for this.

If the Cards have the best record in baseball, then they should have home-field throughout the playoffs.

Some baseball fans have a debate about the wildcard and all of the divisions, but there should be no debate about the ASG.

As it is someone from the Royals or Pirates could very well determine home field advantage in the WS. Baseball would do well to go back to the ASG as an exhibition.

And I don't blame you for voting for the worst AL players. Bud has done some good things, this however is not among them.

3. The game shouldn't count for anything. End of story.
If they want to make World Series home field advantage and issue decided on the field, they ought to decide it based on which league tops the other in inter-league play, if anything.

The All-Star game was always an exhibition. In my mind, it still is, but the Comissioner has added a goofy way of marketing the game that actually negatively affects it, IMHO.
