Announcing a couple of days ago that he was going to start with relief pitchers, and then put in the starter?

Does anyone have Schilling's ERA/WHIP etc in the 1st inning?
I have a pet theory that elite pitchers tend to give up a run or two in their first inning before bearing down.

Right?
The team is kinda pissed that he's even being considered as the closer, according to this morning's Globe.
