And now for news of DU's favorite sport-- tennis! Spoiler Alert!
Murray lost today in straight sets to Ferrer.

I'm not surprised Tsonga took Roger to 3 yesterday...he always plays him well, but Roger is playing better now. Not sure what to make of Nadal winning in a 3rd set tie-breaker...Mardy is playing well, but he has been injured...not sure if Nadal being taken to the limit from an injured players says much for his chances...Djoker to face Berdych later today.

1. Murray is an enigma wrapped in a mystery.

Mardy Fish doesn't seem convinced that he belongs there.

2. A response to a tennis thread!
Well, everyone was thinking Murray was doing so well as of late, but he really didn't beat anyone during his stretch, and he won a touranment right before the US open after losing the first set 6-1 and then Djoker retired. I think the Brits will have to wait a little longer for their Slam.

4. I know that Djoker has been injured...
But it seems to me he has lost his spark, like he felt he was unbeatable, so he was playing like he was...he may have lost his psychological edge going into next year.

5. Spoiler...
Tsonga beat Mardy 7-6 6-1...Mardy is out pretty much, the other three all are still in this group...Roger to play Nadal later today...the winner obviously will go on to the finals.

Roger over Nadal 6-3, 6-0. I thought Roger would win...I didn't think he'd demolish Nadal, though. Rafa might not make the finals if he loses to Tsonga.

7. Another Spoiler!
Janko lost to Tomas in 3, after winning the first set handily. Sort of glad Tomas won since Janko was rested, so it wasn't fair to put himin after the tournament started...Ferrer-Djoker later should be a good one.

10. Seems like Novak and Rafa are more concerned with Davis Cup than the Masters.

12. Today's Spoiler!
Djoker lost, still could make the final at 1-2 depending on the Tomas-David match later, and that match means nothing to Ferrer...he and Rafa have nothing this late in the year.

13. The final is set...Spoiler
Roger and Jo-Willy advanced, both in straight sets, so it's a rematch of the first match of the tournament of last Monday. Something about Jo-Willy's game gives Roger trouble, and both seem to be playing well...so...
