Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is a Christian, as he rarely misses an opportunity to say. Former Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer says he’s heard it enough from Tebow that he doesn’t need to hear it any more.

In an interview with 910-AM in Phoenix, Plummer said that he thinks highly of the way Tebow is winning games in Denver, but he wishes Tebow would cool it on turning post-game interviews into an opportunity to proselytize.

Plummer, who was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals out of Arizona State, was accused of groping four women in March at a nightclub in Tempe, Ariz. He faced four felony counts of sex abuse that could have led to eight years in prison. But Plummer instead pleaded no contest yesterday to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and guilty to one misdemeanor assault count that was in the original criminal complaint. Judge GREGORY MARTIN of Maricopa County Superior Court sentenced Plummer to two years' probation, fined him $1,020 and ordered him to perform 100 hours of community service.
