OK State and Stanford move up:
It is possible that Stanford could play in the BCS Championship without winning the Pac 12. But even if Georgia beats LSU, I bet that LSU and Bama will play in the championship anyway. There is no way to avoid that rematch.

1. Bama is "in the clubhouse" at 11-1
and LSU, at worst, can finish 12-1. I'm not sure how OK St., a Stanford team that didn't win the Pac 10, or any ACC team can pass either one.

2. Lets see..

we have 3 SEC schools in the top 10, 3 from the Pac-12, and 1 each from the ACC, Big 12, CUSA and MWC. Where oh where is the Big 10?

Oh, and LSU and Alabama are obviously the two best teams in the country...so a rematch is warranted.

3. If it's LSU and Alabama...
it'll be the first National Championship I will miss in about 20 years. That game bored the hell out of me the first time, and both I can't decide which coach makes me more ill.

I'm tired of football. My team is a bunch of underachieving chumps who can't pull it together. :(

4. The AP poll isn't used in the BCS
Stanford could play in the BCS Fiesta bowl against Oklahoma State.

6. I want OU to win
I was looking at the bowl projections at http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls">ESPN for that Fiesta bowl match up. Do you think that your coach will get fired if he loses this game?

8. No I don't think so...
but our defensive coordinator might. He kind of sucks anyway, and people have been calling for his head for a few years now. I missed a week of sports radio streaming last week, so I'm curious as to what's going on at the moment (I lived in Norman, OK for 7 years, but I'm out of state now).

I have to say, though, I'm not sure how many chances Stoops is going to get. This was supposed to be OU's year. They've blown it twice so far. They'll be underdogs this week, an unheard of position for them recently. We'll see what happens. I hope we blow OSU's doors off.

10. It depends on which evil you want to avoid.
A defensive SEC rematch with an "over/under" of about 30 or an SEC blowout of a team that doesn't play defense. Either way, the championship game doesn't look like it's going to be that interesting.
