Any low-rent program can get the occasional big win - and, in the case of the Georgia Tech game, small wins, too.

And considering which conference you're representing? Not impressed by the Orange Bowl bid. You took that conference by tiebreaker over Cincinnati. Given that Cincinnati lost 23-45 to a Tennessee team that went 1-7 in the SEC (and only averted 0-8 with an overtime win against Vanderbilt), I'm not too impressed with the Big East, or your championship. Ironically enough, as West Virginia, Pitt, and Syracuse leave, the Big East will get Boise State, which is worth all 3 of those teams combined.

10. So we only slightly beat Georgia Tech in the Gator Bowl. That's like being slightly pregnant.

I thought that was a pretty good WVU comeback for the win, after having been down 35-17 at the top of the the third quarter.

I see Georgia Tech ended up unranked but congrats on getting to play in the Sun Bowl against Utah. The ACC #4 against the PAC-12 #4 should be a good matchup.

You remind me of all the chatter just before WVU kicked Oklahoma's asses 48 to 28 in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl. We didn't have a chance then either, remember? Well here we are the underdogs again in another BCS bowl but maybe we can pull off another upset.

I don't give a rat's ass about the ACC. I think the ACC is pathetic. Which is why I laugh at the Big East for getting teams stolen by the ACC. The only regard I have for Georgia Tech is contempt. We're 10 of our last 11 against them. We whip them when they're bad, and whip them when they're good. Remember their Orange Bowl team? Beat them. That team you beat? We beat them.

I won't be impressed if you beat Clemson. They're ACC. Not impressed. We've won 25 of our past 30 games against ACC teams. 5 of them were bowl teams, including one BCS game. 18 of those 25 teams we beat had 7 or more wins. So no, I don't give a damn about a win against an ACC team.

Are you gonna tell me that was unimportant to you? That was a home game for the Dogs and you still couldn't win. Well maybe you didn't care but I think that mattered quite a bit to a lot of Georgia fans.

... you're dumb. I'm saying that your Georgia Tech game was an unimportant win as far as I'm concerned. Yes, that Sugar Bowl hurt, but mostly because we lost to a clearly inferior team and program because we took the first quarter and a half off. My team has never had to resort to a fake punt after being up 28.

The only reason your program is in a BCS bowl game this year is because you play in a conference that hasn't deserved an automatic bid for years. When you're contending with Cincinnati, Rutgers, UConn, etc., for the title, then your conference sucks. You won't sniff a BCS bowl game for years now that you're joining an actual conference, and there will be plenty of trips to Shreveport, etc., in your future. Couldn't happen to a trashier fanbase.

Like in the 2004 Tennessee game when your botched punt fake contributed significantly in your 19 to 14 upset loss against the Volunteers.

Well OK, there's other ways for the Dogs to win a football game. But after what the Mountaineers did to you in the 2006 Sugar Bowl (when you say you were the superior team but the scoreboard disagreed) I thought you would at least have learned to defend against the punt fake. Not so.

South Carolina did it to you again on September 10th this year. That was good for 68 yards and a Gamecock touchdown. You lost that game by 3 points.

Vanderbilt did it to you too, just the following month. That was good for a 35 yard pass completion but it was not enough to win the game for the Commodores.

I guess it's too much to hope that you'll be rooting for us trashy Mountaineers in the Orange bowl, but I'll be a good sport and wish you luck in the Outhouse bowl. Watch out for punt fakes. I'm sure Michigan State is considering it if they've watched any of your games.
