Does anyone know if Schilling was ever in the military? In addition, what type of dog tags are these. Are the real military looking dog tags, or are they the type that you can tell are not reall dog tags. Like the metal plate with the picture of a family member on them or some similar.

If you're that good at sports that you can go pro, no one in their right minds would join the military and piss away four years of multi-million dollar earnings. Even David Robinson got out of it.
