Agh BJ Ryan cant close for shit
Edited on Tue Jul-19-05 10:46 PM by JohnKleeb
The offense perfectly manufactures a run then Ryan walks a guy, cardinal sin violated number 1, sin violated number 2 was commited by whiteside throwing in to centerfield with mauer going, sin 3 was by Ryan throwing a wild pitch, oh yeah and by then there were two outs, what does Ryan do, he gets two more guys on, setting up a throwing error by Tejada. Did I mention that Ryan threw like 70-75% for balls. Shit like that makes me wanna get my old glove and try out as a closer. Ok so I know I couldnt pitch against big leaguers and I havent pitched in 6 years at least but goddamn is it frustrating, oh well, I hope A.J Burnett can pitch good. Anyhow on a side note, this year in sports has made me want to become a sportswriter.

2. I hear its all but official
Seems like Bigbie, Julio, and Kline will be a part of the deal. I believe Mike Lowell or Juan Eranacion could also be in the package for us, and it would be nice to have another bat I think, but most of all we need pitching.

3. From the other side
It was nice to see someone else's defense fall apart for once, during a 1 run game...The Twins, who are built on pitching and defense have had way more than their share of gaffes in the field.

Now your O's can go beat up on someone else, while we face Detroit!

4. Hah it was awful
Yeah the announcers quoted Crowley as saying the way to beat you guys is through beating your pitching which I admit is very talented.

5. if you don't want him
I'd love to have him. Of course, not instead of Mo but to help him.

6. No I want him
It was frustration. The starting pitching ironically has been our strong point the second half but the offense has been weak, all of our starters exempting Ponson in Seattle last sunday have pitched to win.
