1. ha ha indeed . . . he almost lost today's game . . .
in his inaugural appearance, he fielded a bunt and threw it right past the first baseman, resulting in the Angels scoring the go ahead run . . . in that inning (the 7th), in fact, the entire Yankee bullpen did all they could to give the game away after a sterling debut by Shawn Chacon . . . fortunately, the bats came alive in the bottom of the 9th and the Yanks knocked K-Rod around and won the game on a double by Matsui that scored the tying and winning runs . . . whew! . . .
