on edit: Muller used a variety of shots and the single faceted Roddick never seemed to find his rhythm. In fact Muller dominated the match after the first seven games. roddick only had one break point and had Muller converted some of his other break opportunities the match wouldn't have been close.
As a left handed tennis player I can say I was happy to see this result. Muller is not just a flash in the pan, he is in ascendence.
Can Muller string together several matches at the level he played tonight? We'll see. He totally outplayed Roddick who is pretty incapable from inside the baseline when handling finessed shots. Muller moved him around all night.

1. I love tennis .... I bet you I would kill you if i got 1 month to play ... |

..... but tonight .... Who cares. New Orleans is going under water and the death toll is going to be big.
Tennis does not matter. I saw a little and I think Andy knows the big picture too.
