Post your college football upset picks here!
I say the Indiana Losers - I mean HOOSIERS - will get a rude awakening when they come to Mount Pleasant and get their behinds kicked by the Chippewas of Central Michigan!

2. Fighting Irish
Mark my words, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will end USC's winning streak at home this year.

Sportscenter had a story about Wyoming football this year. It appears that noone wants a piece of the Cowboys this year, so much so that Florida tried to take them off the schedule, to me that speaks volumes about the team.

8. Actually
What happened is this. We had Nebraska lined up for a game at Invesco in Denver (2 hrs from Laramie), and came up with Boise State or Marshall for replacement for the Gators, and they refused both of 'em, and made us honor the contract. Would've rather been in Denver watching us smoke the Bugeaters, but we'll take the Gators and make the team some really nice Alligator Cowboy Boots!

20. Good call!
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 07:21 AM by trotsky
I couldn't believe it - with Miami driving like they did in the 4th quarter and the FSU quarterbacks playing like shit warmed over, I could only see yet another collapse and loss to those dreaded 'Canes.

How did the kicking curse get switched to Miami? Wait, I don't wanna know - I just wanna relish the victory!

17. Great Effort From Your Team MaineDem!
Yeah I don't have to worry:* I swear i'm beginning to think the physical illness I get after a Nebraska football game is all just part of the process. it was probably better to be a Nebraska fan Saturday night than a Oklahoma fan, but not by much. Nebraska looked lost most of the night and Maine deserves much of the credit for it.

great job by your team!:toast:

18. Thanks!
When I was a freshman at Maine we had to wear our little beanies until the football team won a game. (Long long time ago.) I seem to remember wearing that silly thing until Thanksgiving almost! :D

I'm surprised we scored at all against such a top-rated team.

I'm so glad we didn't have to talk you out of anything rash.

Have a great season! :hi:

11. Louisiana Lafayette
I'm gonna predict that the Ragin' Cajuns beat Texas today.

I am a Texas Ex myself, but I think I may even be rooting for our Cajun neighbors on this one. Can't wait to watch it.

As much of a rabid Texan as I am, I won't be able to help but pull for Louisiana! Even though I had never heard of them or their team until yesterday.

hahahahahaha

12. So, did anyone see TCU drop Oklahoma?
Nice to know that OU's QB isn't worth a shit. Adrian Peterson didn't do too much either. It might be a long year for the Sooners. Maybe Mack Brown can actually beat them for once:P .

13. I did! I did!
They switched over from the OSU blowout in the third.

What's more, I actually got engrossed in the game, about when TCU got a pick to have possession and a touchdown lead with about nine to go. It's the first time all week I've been engrossed in anything above water. College football: gettin' the job done!

14. I did, too!
I always support Texas teams (even A&M) against non-Texans, and I am especially glad OU was embarrassed!!!

haha
