Good God the Packers look awful

As a long time Packer fan, I hope this is an aberration, but I fear it may be the norm. 14 penalties and two turnovers. Total ineptitude on offense. Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggghhh! And Walker got hurt too. The hits just keep on coming.

My team, the Seminoles, had three or four bad years and we store don't have an offense. So I feel your pain.

When were they ever lousy? They've been good as long as I can remember. Although I don't really follow them that closely as I am a midwesterner as well as a Hawkeye fan.

6. Oh, we have been LOUSY

believe me. The last three years we've lost three or four games a year and Miami beat us five times in a row. Now, since Bowden has been here we haven't had any 0-11 seasons like we used to, but we haven't been winning the big games since 99.

They're good, but they aren't great at the moment. Bad offense problems. We had one QB get arrested and thrown off the team last year, and this year the QB got Lyme Disease and had a very public meltdown that was attributed to neurological damage.

Our defense is good this year, tho.

7. It's looking to be an ugly year for the Pack

And that's coming from me - a die hard Packer fan. They looked horrible in pre-season, and didn't do any better today. In fact, they looked worse. The penalties just killed them. The cornerback - Carroll - when will he learn to QUIT PULLING THAT illegal hands to the face crap?!!! He did it a lot last year too!

9. Get used to it

My 15 year old was griping all afternoon. I told him about the lean years I lived through('73-Ron Wolf). He just doesn't get that the Pack could ever be sub-.500.

No defense at all. Let's hope that when Brett's $$ comes off the cap we sign some good free agents and draft well.

I know it sounds horrible, and I don't really mean it, but then he can retire and the era of Aaron Rodgers can start....that's how Brett's career started, an injury right?? I'm hoping for 8-8, I'm afraid it's going to be more like 5-11. :cry:
