I buy here when you come to East Lansing; if I make it to 'Bama, it's your turn. I love Alabama football. Because you would not recruit black players in the '50s and '60s, our coach, Duffy Daugherty, was more than happy to welcome Bubba Smith, George Webster and all the other great players that made us a powerhouse. Yes, a home-and-home would be just great. I'll write State, if you write 'Bama, and see if we can make it happen. Warning: We'll kick your Southern butt, though.

No SEC team could recruit black players until President Kennedy stepped in and really helped out. Not only the SEC football teams, but the entire region. Our entire state has some pretty sad history as far as race relations go, but day by day we're getting over it. But, as I far as I can remember, we weren't that bad in the '60s and '70s. 6 national championships between those two decades and really 1 more if Notre Dumb had have dropped some and gone for the win against you guys. . .

As far as kicking our Southern butt: Well, we 'Bama fans like to do our talking on the field--- and after the game. :evilgrin:

And when you come to T-Town... you'd be in a renovated, 93K capacity Bryant-Denny Stadium. It's gonna be awesome!

Check out the under the radar player of the year, Drew Stanton, MSU's quarterback, this week against ND on national TV. He's got guts and talent; a special player. We may not win (defense suspect), but we will put up some points, unlike the overrated pinheads in Ann Arbor (don't get me started - probably like you feel about Auburn).
