They're 3-0 now, and their next two are Richmond and MTSU, both at home.

However, after that they've got LSU & Georgia at home, then go to South Carolina and Florida. That's probably 4 losses right there, unless they can squeak one by at SC. Then they get Kentucky at home, which they should win, and go to Tennessee, which is probably a loss.

You could be looking at Vandy going to 6-5 or 7-4. I think the last time Vandy had a winning season or went to a bowl was 1982, and they've only been to 3 bowl games in the history of the school.

My grandfather is a huge Vandy fan, and he used to take me to the games as a kid. Also, I went to Vandy basketball games as a kid with my Dad, so I'm definitely rooting for them.

I know better than to get my hopes up. A winning season would be nice, and a bowl game would be even better, but I'm taking a wait and see attitude.

3. I know what you mean...I was there when they beat UF with Emmitt Smith

I was selling sodas in the stands to raise money for our Prom (I went to Hume Fogg).

Everybody was on the Watson Brown bandwagon. Everybody thought if we could beat Florida, who was really good that year, we could win against Ole Miss, Kentucky, Army, and Memphis. They lost all four of those, and then of course lost to Tennessee in the last game. It was a total collapse.

I think they'll actually make it to a bowl this year. This team looks pretty decent.

They won't beat USC...

They'll beat Richmond, MTSU, and Kentucky to finish with 6 wins and a trip to the Independence or Houston Bowls IMO.

Knowing Vandy, they'll probably lose to SC, but this team has the best chance in a long time to get 7 wins. It's been a really long time for that.
