5. screw the Yankees
their high priced primadonna's many who need the "Roids" to produce
homers,i.e. Giambi and others.
I will never forget last years playoff with the Red Sox, down 3 games the Sox came back and defeated those Bronx Bums,it was a omen.I really
believed Kerry would upset the Bush Crime Family but thanks to the
"Cheaters in Deibold"Kerry was robbed.
Back in 95' I believe, baseball players went on strike in September there-by canceling the rest of the season,no playoffs,no World Series
and the players wouldn't come to camp the following season so baseball
signed up "replacement players" who trained then played in the exhibition games. The high priced prima-donnas held fast. The night before opening the season the League was ready to use the replacements
players for the regular season but no way says the strikers,They saw
the writing on the wall and relented, strike was called off. What a scumbag thing to do to baseball lovers, threaten to strike and then do it !!! Thats where I left my desire for baseball and I'm thrilled the
Boston Red Sox came back from a 3 game deficit to beat the Bx.Bums....
BTW,no team had come back to win the last 3 games for the win

11. Newsflash.....Sox are prima-donnas too.
Between Manny and Schilling and Foulke, it's a ego fest.

6. the Yanks have somehow morphed into lovable underdogs . . .
with all the problems they've had with injuries to their pitching staff, it looked like the highest payroll in baseball was a bust . . . but they're a half game behind the Sox due to some amazing play from complete unknowns who have stepped up and saved the season for them . . .

can't help but cheer for the likes of Chien-Ming Wang, Aaron Small, Shawn Chacon, Robinson Cano and, tonight, Bubba Crosby . . .

10. Small & Chacon have just been unreal
All the players you named have saved the Yankees from being a sub .500 team imo.

16. Bubba Crosby was coached by Ray Knoblaugh
I found an article that he and Chuck kind of stay in touch because they have this bond over his Dad. Bubba was one of the last players Ray coached before he started showing signs of Alzheimers.

12. It will call come down to the final 3 games
in Beantown.

Yanksters naturally want to feel exultant now -- that element of hope drapes a dark curtain over their TOTAL COLLAPSE in the playoffs last year in the face of an INSPIRED and SUPERIOR Sox ballclub.

But 2005 ain't over yet.

See y'all in October ("I'll be the guy wearing the 2004 World Series Champions T-shirt).

13. Super Slug Fests for both the Sox and the Yanks tonight
Both of them belting the hell out of the old stitched-up spheroid.

Still gonna be only a 1/2 game diff. when the Wednesday morning Sun comes up.

Grab your peptobismol, and enjoy the rest of the season.
