Ughhhhh - O.J. to Cheer for Trojans at Orange Bowl
O.J. to Cheer for Trojans at Orange Bowl

By JOHN NADEL : AP Sports Writer
Jan 4, 2005 : 12:40 pm ET

MIAMI -- To O.J. Simpson, the lure of seeing his alma mater play so close to home in this Orange Bowl was impossible to turn down.

"I'll be in the stands cheering as loud as anybody for USC," Simpson told The Associated Press in a telephone interview Monday.

"I can't wait. I always follow SC -- always have, always will," he said.

Simpson said he hasn't seen the Trojans play in person for about 10 years, though he has watched most of their games on television during that time.

But he lives only 30 miles or so southwest of Pro Player Stadium, so he's set to be there Tuesday night when No. 1 Southern California takes on No. 2 Oklahoma for the national title.

18. Naw, he's using the opportunity to continue his never-ending search...
...for that real killer. They're known to hang out at BCS Championship games--that and golf courses.

8. this is not the first non-story about OJ going to Florida
Edited on Tue Jan-04-05 08:09 PM by goodbody
games. There was another phony, nothing-of-a-story when he showed up at practice in Florida a couple years ago and was photographed with Trojan Heisman winner, Carson Palmer and some other team members. It was not a planned photo, OJ just showed up on his own.

The disgust with OJ lies properly with the jury that acquited OJ, not with the Trojans. He wasn't even married when he played with them -- which is when he earned his Heisman.

Good Gawd. Another OJ stalker. Oklahoma's losing. Who gives a flying fuck about OJ. How sad for you.

edit: the poster insulting USC was trying to say that, since he killed his wife, it's a good reason to root for Oklahoma. Huh? Now you're saying he was married to someone else. Again, Huh? Who gives a fuck about OJ.

I wondered why you brought it up in the first place. I could care less...I just wanted to corrected a factual error you made.
