but even the most die-hard Packer fan, after looking at last season's results, then each team's off-season moves, would be hard-pressed to say that the Vikes are more likely to lose every game. ;-)

No matter where you go or what subject comes up about the VIKINGS there is always a slacker fan that spews his hatred. Let me think oh yes just a few years ago it was WE HAVE NEVER LOST A SUPERBOWL (thanks again Denver)and then tell all the VIKING fans that the VIKINGS have never won a super bowl. Well now it's just the same lame old rant about no superbowl wins. Please try harder to justify your hatred toward the VIKINGS other than what you have been brought up with.

As in 1 NFL Championship. After all, the Vikes were the NFL Champs once in the pre-merger days. If you get to count all the ones back from the days when there wasn't even a championship game (the team with the best record was declared the champion), then we get that one.

Seriously, are you refering to 1969? (the season that they lost the 1970 superbowl to KC?). Yes, it was an NFL championship, but they did lose the superbowl.

Yes, they lost to the Chiefs, but they were the NFL champions. As valid as any of the Packers' pre-Super Bowl championships.

Besides, I am not responsible for the Vikings' record any more than you are the Packers'. Seems silly to brag about championships when neither of us had anything whatsoever to do with them.

I am not taking credit for Packers' championships -- nor am I claiming personal self-worth because of their success. However, the fun of sports is rooting for your team and the friendly banter with fans of your team's rivals.

I am an LSU alum who is disappointed by last night's final four debacle, but it is just a game and nothing more...

The old simple logos are by far the best and should never be altered. There's virtually a direct coorelation between the age of a logo and how good it is.

5. The "new" look

looks similar to Ravens uniforms

The # pattern is the same and the color choices are very similar.

I'll go with the purple jersey and the gold pants.

Ravens have done black/black & white/black. The placment of the logo on the helmet and on the jersey is the same too.

I saw nothing wrong with our old uniforms. They were classic and timeless. The simple horns and the Norseman were absolutely perfect.

I hope that axe logo is a 'throwaway', 'cuz it's nasty.

I guess I don't mind the new 'horn', but the new Viking head looks more like a Mongol out of Disney's "Mulan" than a Viking, it's too heavy-handed.

I don't like the numbers. I'm a throwback, what can I say?

I hate the gold pants, they'll make players look like Vegas dancers. White or secondary team color, period.

This is the Ravenization of the league---which is bad but not as bad and the Broncos look with the tapered lines which I HATE (UVa adopted it too).

21. Why not a revolt?

I remember the 49ers tried to change logos maybe 10 or 15 years ago to a stupid USFL-type look, and the Bay Area fanswere outraged to the point the team backed away from the idea within weeks. Even starting from scratch these would be awful, but when you have a direct comparison to a classy uniform you're replacing, it's even more pathetic.
