Maybe the before the game commentators got it right. However, about a week before the game one reporter on the show "Sports Reporters" claimed that UCLA's NCAA Tournament run would end at LSU. The reporter claimed that UCLA did not have the team to compete against LSU. However, during the game, most of which I did not watch I only watched the last 2:58 of the game, UCLA seemed to handle LSU. At one point UCLA was up by 24 point and finished the game with a win of about 15 points. So, what happened with the prediction of the reporter? Did LSU play really bad? One of in game commentators said that if LSU could play the game again they would probably go to Glen "Big Baby" Davis more. Did the reporter from the "Sports Reporters" just underestimate the defense of UCLA? I did see how at the end of the game UCLA's offense seemed to have gone home. Also, one of the commentators said they (UCLA) failed to score during the final minutes of the game.

1. I turned it on sporadically starting about the middle of the first half...

...every time I did, UCLA increased its lead. Maybe UCLA was just better focused--the media storylines were all about LSU and George Mason--gave the other two teams time to prepare and not be distracted.
