I think you are right about sportscasters spending too much time on individuals instead of the good teams. I think it would probably be good for the NBA if the sportscasters begin to spend more time talking about how team are doing instead of just talking about certain players. It is interesting that the sportscasters spend so much time looking for the next "Jordan", why people were the number 23 or 32, and why people name their kids "Jordan". For a while now I wished sportscasters would just let guys play and judge them on their talents instead of comparing them to Micheal Jordan. I think the sportscasters do not realize that when they decide to talk about one guy instead of the team that are just blowing away the competition they reinforce the idea that the NBA has become a one man sport instead of a team sport. In addition, I think it would or could be crazy for some people who watch many of the games to have to hear about Micheal Jordan every game. During many games, especially during Kobe Bryant and LeBron James games their is always talk about Micheal Jordan; which one will be the next Jordan, which one will be more like Jordan by the end of their career, or which one will be better than Jordan.
