Pistons blow out Cavs, LeBron's ankle is headline story
Honestly.

The Pistons' magic number to clinch home court throughout the playoffs is 2 and I had to dig hard to find that out.

I heard some sportscasters lamenting the lack of interest in the NBA the other day. I think if they would cover the good teams a little more, fan interest might perk up. Who cares about LeBron James or Chris Paul over good team play?

The other thing they might want to examine is how Joe Dumars has turned this into a team for the whole city of Detroit. He runs buses from Detroit out to Auburn Hills, they've sold out well over a hundred games in a row, and it's the biggest party in town night after night. But no, they interviewed him the other day and then wondered where he got the name "Jordan" for his son.

1. I don't think LeBron James is 21
I think he's at least 26. He sure doesn't look 21. I wouldn't be surprised if his birth certificate were altered.

I don't have anything against the guy, I just don't think he's 21. Someone should take a skin sample and count the rings.

Joe Dumars also just made it into the Naismith Hall of Fame and there's been hardly anything on that either. Hard-working, non-controversial, steady players who play their whole career in one city and go on to become brilliant executives are a non-story.

2. I'm just tired of LeBron and Kobe being the story
I hear either name, I tune out.

4. Right and Sad
I think you are right about sportscasters spending too much time on individuals instead of the good teams. I think it would probably be good for the NBA if the sportscasters begin to spend more time talking about how team are doing instead of just talking about certain players. It is interesting that the sportscasters spend so much time looking for the next "Jordan", why people were the number 23 or 32, and why people name their kids "Jordan". For a while now I wished sportscasters would just let guys play and judge them on their talents instead of comparing them to Micheal Jordan. I think the sportscasters do not realize that when they decide to talk about one guy instead of the team that are just blowing away the competition they reinforce the idea that the NBA has become a one man sport instead of a team sport. In addition, I think it would or could be crazy for some people who watch many of the games to have to hear about Micheal Jordan every game. During many games, especially during Kobe Bryant and LeBron James games their is always talk about Micheal Jordan; which one will be the next Jordan, which one will be more like Jordan by the end of their career, or which one will be better than Jordan.
