This past off-season the Toronto Blue Jay braintrust went out and spent something like a hundred million bucks on B.J. Ryan and A.J. Burnett, their new stopper and number two starter respectively. Well, Ryan so far has looked like he's worth the investment, more or less. Burnett on the other hand looks like damaged goods. Missed his first two starts because of some kind of nagging arm injury, then his two starts since then have both been thoroughly unimpressive. Including tonight against the Red Sox, giving up back to back jacks to Ortiz and Ramirez and then leaving after 78 pitches in the 5th. Rest of Jays pitchers are not exactly heating it up either. Even Halladay has been up and down, and missed his last start due to some kind of arm problem. Halladay I think will be fine. But Jays gotta outslug everyone to win.

Not a happy camper am I.x(

It was 6-2 Boston heading to bottom of the 8th....now it's 6-6.

The defence rests.

Go Jays go!!!

3. And we left after the 7th!

Went with my Dad who's visiting town, but he got up at some ungodly early hour to make the flight here, so I don't blame him for wanting to leave early.

2. AJ Burnett has an appointment with Dr. James Andrews.
You can officially start worrying now, Jays fans.

5. Tonight it was a 6-0 lead over the A's....
...now it's 7-6 Oakland in the 4th.

No pitching, no playoffs, no kidding.

:hurts:
