Chelsea wins the EPL back to back
http://www.chelseafc.com/article.asp?hlid=383340&title=Reaction:+This+is+special+club+says+Special+One&nav=news

:wow: :bounce: :wow: to win back to back league titles in the ePL--the best overall league in the world for the REAL football--is something special! This was the first season I was able to enjoy watching Chelsea. i had been a Man U supporter, but man they have fallen quite a ways down..and alot fo their supporters don't exactly like Americans (due to the Glazer family takeover of the club). The Chelsea fans are cool--steve from Fox Football Friday replied to my email and said,"chelsea is always ahppy to welcome more US fans" (the club is playing stateside this summer with the MLS all stars in Chicago). plus they'll be making a HUGE investment in US soccer developemt, so why not support a big club that WANTS people like me? :-)

Man U, I hope you're taking notes. And I o hope that Wayne Rooney recovers soon, the World Cup won't be the same without him...

1. So you were a Man U fan till they stopped winning trophies?
Can't say I'm suprised by that. I expect to see quite few more glory hunters attaching themselves to Chelski in the next few years.

2. not soley about winning trophies
Man U is currently owned by the Glazer family, the same peple who run the Tampa Bay Bucs. And you would presume that they would be doing alot more to promote Man U stateside. Sadly, NO. Poor Malcolm Glazer can't even go see a game at Old Trafford without a riot breaking out. And you should have seen what spport Man U supporters were saying when news of hi stroke broke out. Chelsea is coming to the US for the third summer in a row, as well as havng the big agreement with AEG/LA Galaxy. That's not glory hunting my friend, it's reality.

5. Man U supporter don't like his business plan

as it involves borrowing needlessly. It's the same formula that has sent a number of other big clubs down the pan so I don't blame them for opposing him. Even if they are just a bunch of glory hunting tossers from Surrey!
