Should the steroids era athletes have a "*" by their records?
We know they did it,but without proof,what is a good solution?

1. Short answer to your question
No. There is no solid proof that any player did steroids, except Palmiero and the others who tested positve. And hitting a baseball is probably the single most difficult thing to do in sports. So whether a guy was "juiced" or not, he still has to make contact. And one last thing, I believe that Selig and MLB were complicit in the whole thing. All they wanted to do was put butts in the seats and make sure everyone was happy. So if guys hit 500 ft. homeruns and have 70 or more in a season, who cared? Not Selig and the powers that be. They probably knew what was allegedly going on, but did nothing.

There is no way to accurately determine who used steroids and who didn't prior to the period when testing was done.

3. hm, isn't that basically ALL sports now?
really. the average size of an NFL lineman has increased by 75 pounds in a decade. Every year they are bigger, stronger, faster. inconcievable.

4. Bonds is the obvious candidate
hitting 73 homers at age 37. That is a bit odd isn't it.
