1. They're not loaded is the problem

Look at their roster:

KG, a man who's struck at least two teammates during practise. The leader of the team isn't a leader.

Sprewell, who's old and complaining about not feeding his family with only 10 million a year.

Cassell, who's also getting old and having a contract dispute.

Kandiman, who's, well, Kandi.

Wally, who hurts more than he helps.

Last year they overachieved. This year, they're back to where they should be.

Oh, and Flip Saunders should have been fired long ago. The Spurs had a coach, Bob Hill, who kept taking them to the playoffs and losing, so Popovich fired him and we started winning rings. (Admittedly, it helped that we got Tim Duncan about the same time, but still.)
