BoSox pitcher Jon Lester diagnosed with lymphoma
He was sent for tests on a back strain and they found enlarged lymph nodes. Further testing came up with the diagnosis. They say it's treatable.

Announced on the tv broadcast.

Schilling will miss his next start. Papelbon is day-to-day.

But, good news! Nixon and Vartitek should be back within days.

4. My S-I-L was recently diagnosed with the same thing
It doesn't have to be a death sentence, but it must be treated aggrssively.
