few years. I'm sick of all the commercials.
You know, it used to be that in between possessions you could actually get a little break and the commentators could sit back and make some thoughtful commentary about what had been going on in the game. It used to be that you could easily get through a whole possession without cutting to commercials. But no more.
Now, teams are running their offense like it's a two-minute drill the whole game and the announcers barely have time to show a replay of the previous play, if it was a good one. It's like the damned game is just cutting into commercial time for the networks. And the commercial breaks are freaking loooooooong.
You can't even crack open a beer and relax anymore. How did they ever manage before? You know, back when watching a game was more game than commercials?
