I don't know enough about the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Perhaps one of you could imform me.

I've been following Kenny Lofton's career since he
played basketball for the University of Arizona.

He's been in the major league for fifteen years.

Here are his career stats:

Any thoughts?

1. These aren't quite HoF numbers, sorry.
Lofton looks like a solid olayer, but there are lots of solid players who aren't in the HoF.

His most impressive stat is his batting average (.299 lifetime).

I haven't followed Loften, but from these stats I would guess he's a leadoff hitter. I would think he would need a little bit higher batting average and about half again as many stolen bases.

Maybe my standards are a little tough in this department, so feel free to disagree.

2. I don't follow baseball well enough to know what HofF numbers are.
I remember early in his csreer with Cleveland
he was the hottest base thief.
He has spent much of his career as lead-off hitter.

Thanks for the info.

:hi:

3. I think it's possible
If he retired today, no. If he plays a few more years at a relative high level, probably. 2500 hits is usually a key inside and he is close.

Hof numbers means hall of fame type stats.

4. Not quite a Hall of Famer...

A nice career but nothing there that makes him stand out from the crowd.
