Dammit. I hate being proven wrong.

2. As far as I'm concerned, Florida does belong.
I was wrong with the Michigan call -- they had only lost one game, and that was by 3 to OSU, so it seemed appropriate to have a rematch.

That said, if Florida gives OSU a good game, they'll prove they belong. As for now, it looks like the BCS people made the right call.

5. Boise State
Considering the results of the game between Boise State and Oklahoma I contend that Boise State is the team that belonged in the championship game. Just the fact that they were the only undefeated team should have put them in the championship game. Since they beat Oklahoma, last night, Boise State proved they deserved to go to the game. It is possible that Ohio State would have eviscerated Boise State, but they still should have gone and it is possible that Ohio State will eviscerate Florida.

3. Michigan looked absolutely flat
It was really too bad. Also, did Prescott Burgess play? I don't recall hearing his name during the game.

4. You're right--Boise State should have been there....
...proved they can win against a top tier team, and they went undefeated.

A play-off system is the only way to resolve the stupidity of college football, but it ain't gonna happen in my lifetime!

6. The whole game was pretty lame in my opinion.
But I agree, it's pretty obvious that Michigan didn't deserve to be in the championship game. Hopefully Florida will beat OSU and there will be no need for any further debate.

7. The Michigan you saw was not the Michigan of the first 10 games
Somewhere, the emotion they had for the first few months of the season was gone. Don't forget, they beat Wisconsin and Penn State (both on the road), teams that both played well in bowl games this year. Somehow, at the point of the Ball State game, Michigan just lost their intensity. They played the first 10 games with a real elan that seemed to suddenly vanish.

10. Cry me a friggin' river....................
Meat-chicken ain't much. They got a garbage TD at the end of the OSU game to make it look close and did the same vs USC. Southern Cal, which is a good team...... but not great.......... beat the snot out of Lllllod Carr and his plodding buffoons.

You would think after all the mouthing off the Meat-chickens and LLLLLOyd did did after the pollsters ranked Florida ahead of them, they'd have had the style and pride to actually show up at The Rose Bowl. Maybe they did play their best but just weren't very good.

8. Once again, I call on Carr to be fired
He has no imagination, he insists on relying on the defense to win games rather than be creative with the offense...the man is out of ideas and is a subpar-at-best recruiter. Michael Rosenbaum in the Free Press was right on today about his playcalling.

9. Hey, Counciltucky!
Happy New Year! :hi: :toast:

The same thing will probably be said about Florida, who will probably be crushed by Ohio State.
