Boise State's Win Proves The Need for a Playoff System

Once and for all, it's only way to prove which team is the best. Until then, there will always be arguments.

1. I Agree

The main reason for keeping Boise State out of the championship game was that they would be beaten by Ohio State. This win proves they deserved a chance to go to the game. Now it seems that people have to hope that Ohio State just destroys Florida. If they do not there will most likely be arguments concerning whether USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida or Boise State should be the national champion. I thought about leaving Boise State off of the list of team that would be involved in the arguments in that I think some people will still claim that Boise State does not deserve to be the national champion. A playoff system would be much better.

2. Utah did the same thing

a couple of years ago, and got nothing to show for it. I believe they ended up ranked fourth.

3. It's needed it for a long time.

However, despite being unbeaten, I am not totally convinced that BSU could beat OSU, Florida, USC, Michigan, etc....

Of course, anyone could beat anyone on any given day.

I would like to see a playoff system regardless of who I think could be so and so or not.

BSU deserves a shot against OSU, Florida, etc...
