2. An amazing ending, yes!!!
However, the Seahawks got lucky tonight. They can't afford to play their next opponent the same way. They will have their butts handed to them.

4. Me, too, K_Jerome.
I just can't stand them damn Cowboys. I had to watch the rest of the game with the MUTE button on. I had enough of listening to Madden and Michaels practically fellating Tony Romo. I just wonder who was getting the sloppy seconds?

7. This was a battle of Coaching Geniuses getting in the way
of their respective teams. I love what Holgren has done for us, but who the heck calls a sweep on first and goal from the 1? And when you have 3rd and 7 for the tying touchdown, running a 5-yard pass play is, well, extraordinary. As for Parcells, I gather he decided in the closing moments not to try for the touchdown even with our pass defense out for the count but rather to get the first down right at the 1 so as to kick the field goal as the clock ran out rather than seeing if Hasselbeck might serve up another pick.

But hasn't Parcells been known to refer to players he's deemed insufficiently tough as "she"? So hearing him sound like he was about to cry in the post-game press conference made the outcome all the more sweet and hilarious.

6. The Seahawks are now officially...
the whiniest sports team. They took the title away from the San Antonio Spurs tonight. I've never seen a team whine so much on offense. News flash for the Seahawks...there really is not pass interference on every play. Sheesh.

They need to stop whining and get their heads in the game and worry about the next play or they will not get past the next round. It was pitiful to watch.

Oh...and NBC sucks ass for not replaying the last play of the game. I would have liked a close up view to see what kind of contact there was in the end zone, if any, but I never got to fucking see it close up. Though I suppose Madden's very limited use of the telestrator tonight almost makes up for it.

8. back off on the guy
dallas never even would've played tonight without him. more than tony lost this game tonight and i know for a fact that tony's going to take a long, long time to get over what happened tonight and he doesn't need armchair quarterbacks to make stupid posts on the internet. he's a good dude and you'd say the same thing if you knew him. leave him alone.

24. I think Dallas could have managed a 9-7 with Bledsoe
It could have saved us a whole month of Tony Romo is the greatest QB to ever live until he was bumped off the page by Mr. Wonderlic.

30. he's the QB
and frankly, when your coach say the weeks before your first ever playoff game that your problem is overconfidence? you get burned. He wants to be an NFL quarterback, with all the glory that entails? he gets to be mocked when he loses a game with a stupid mistake. it's his job.

19. It was all that annointing oil covering Romo that caused it.
Next Joe Montana and all that other bullshit they were covering this guy with. He's an ok QB, no more, no less.

20. That's funny
I think he will be in the upper echelon in the NFL QB hierarchy-granted that ain't saying much these days but he seems to have the speed of the game down and is aware of what is going on around him. He seems to be able to "do the math" rather quickly in his head so he can figure out the angles and such.

I think this is a fine example of actually taking time to develop a QB instead of rushing him onto the field.

21. Nothing makes me smile like a Cowboy player crying.

Couldn't happen to a better team. I love the way they fall apart at the end of the season.

I might have enjoyed that loss and the crying as much as the win we had yesterday.

Wahhhhhhhh!!

31. He was starting to believe his press.
And he comes off as a bit cocky in interviews. You should have to do it for a while in the NFL before people start mentioning your name with the all time greats. He's certainly humbled now. Besides I hate the Cowboys, this a great thing.

33. Well I don't know the guy, just how he comes off.
Tell him we in Philly have a few hundred cases of Butterfinger candy bars for him and We'll have a nice warm welcome for him at The Linc next year. I'm sure he already knows that though.

Has he ever mentioned how it is to have to deal with a jackass like T.O.? I'd be interested in hearing his actual opinion.

34. he actually likes the guy
and gets along with him really well...their lockers are next to each other and they even hang out off the field from time to time, which is probably why TO started getting a lot more passes thrown his way once bledsoe got benched.

he said a lot of the TO stuff is overblown and he's actually a nice guy but lets all the press get to his head...tony's been trying to get him to quiet down and i think to an extent it worked, at least for romo's first half of his season, when they were winning.

i haven't talked to him since the last game, cause he's probably beating the hell out of himself right now and it'll take him a damn long time to get over it...we'll see what he can do next year. and while he may play great or terribly, no matter what happens tony is indeed a great and genuine sort of dude (and the entire press jerking him off didn't help to get that across) and while he's super confident he's not super cocky. just somethin to remember.

18. Let me first say that I hate the cowboys
It made me happy to see them lose the game.

That being said, why do we always put all the blame on the guy who fucked the last play? Why isn't it TOs fault for dropping some passes, for not getting the ball in the endzone? Why not the off coordinator for being a complete dipshit in the play-calling arena? Why not a million different people? Let's just blame it on the last screw-up and forget about all the ones before it.

25. AND...why is the starting QB the holder...
Yeah I know he was the holder before he became the starter...but if he's the next soming of Joe Montana...then treat him like Joe Montana and don't make him be the holder for the field goal team.
