Bonds May Have Failed a Test-Not Steroids
The Daily News is reporting that Barry Bonds failed an amphetamine test and blamed the failed test on a teammate. According to the Daily News after failing the test Bonds claimed that he had used a substance that was in teamate Mark Sweeney's locker. The Daily News is also reporting that Sweeney was informed of Bond's test failure and accusation against Sweeney. Sweeney claimed that Bonds did not get anything from his locker and there was nothing in his locker for Bonds to take. The full story is below.

1. I must say....
that blaming one of your teammates is really beneath contempt.

i hope the giants release him and he just go away.

3. Hear hear
They have to stomp this sort of thing out wherever they find it, so that the little fires here and there don't burn out the whole sport's integrity.

Not to defend the use of amphetamines, of course.

5. Amphetimines are widely used in the NHL and baseball is trying to get rid of them.
They've got espresso machines in clubhouses, etc.

Baseball's really trying to do something about it. Bonds knows this.

6. what a piece of shit..
it's never your fault, is it Bones? You'd of thought he learned his lesson about using unknown substances after the Balco incident. I don't believe either story for gawddamned second. Athletes don't just put "substances" in their systems without knowing what those substances are. Lousy tweaker.
