I have discovered the greatest way to watch a game is to record it on

the satellite receiver's video recorder, avoiding all
computer/tv/radio during this time, then just start watching the game
from the start about 2 hrs into the game. You can fast forward past
all the bullshit and not miss one play, saving yourself 2 hours of
watching commercials for male enhancement products, robots punching
cars and Peyton Manning trying to act like he has a personality.
But don't F up like I did and assume the network would block out enough time for the whole game. Apparently the TV schedule for PHI/NO was about a half hour too short so for me the game ended with 8 mins left in the 4th!:evilfrown:

1. I've watched a game that way and you're right.
Sometimes our kids will come out to watch a game and get there late so we play it from the beginning and catch up. We have a dvr from our cable company. Unfortunately, I'm usually too impatient to delay watching a game but that's almost the only way we watch television shows any more.
