Well, there's *nothing* like an 80 yard kick off return in the 3rd, tie game! Patriots.

1. I think that Pats TD was a missed call. |
|
Gaffney was jumping backwards when he elevated, there's no way he could have brought both feet down.

2. No, I think it's called from where he went up, not where he may have come down, |
|
since it was a push out on the catch. He went up in field and kept possession on the fall. Good call, imo.

4. It's based on where his feet would have come down if not touched |

I've never understood that asinine rule to begin with. What difference does it make where you would have landed? It's the definition of a physical sport and the defender should be given credit for shoving you where you didn't want to be.

6. The rule makes sense when you take it to an extreme |
|
where a defender could literally carry a receiver out of bounds

9. That would be fine with me |
|
Of course, I've always believed pass interference shouldn't be in the rule book at all. If you can tackle the guy while the ball is in the air, be my guest. That would restore the game to scrum status where it belongs. I despise the pantyhose passing game.

11. Great game, I'm glad the Colts won, BUT |
|
that roughing the passer call on NE with 2 minutes left looked incredibly ticky-tack to me. Just saying.
