Boy oh boy. The Big Ten(11) flamed out of the tourney fast
With the defeats of Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan State in the second round, the conference now only has one representative, the Ohio State Buckeyes, who should in reality be gone as well. Down year for the Big Ten(11) for sure.

1. if the refs had possessed the balls
to call the correct intentional foul on Odom, it would be over (of course, Xavier still had the chance, before missing free throws)

but then the ACC only has one rep left as well.

4. The conference didn't look that great this year
I had Ohio State #4 in the preseason ratings I use and Wisconsin #11. That's about it.

Wisconsin was a weak #2 seed. A team rated #11 in preseason should be a #3, not #2. I guess you have to factor in regular season results but whenever I see a team rated above their preseason number they inevitably blow. Wisconsin, Texas, Washington State and Virginia were all examples of that in the second round.

Florida got a ridiculously easy draw. Not only was Wisconsin a phony #2 seed, but none of the other high seeds in that region were not in my preseason top 25 -- Oregon, Maryland, Butler.
