Theisman out at MNF
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6611526?MSNHPHCP>1=9232

Seems like Lawrence Taylor would have been a natural to replace him....

1. Looks like Ron Jaworski will be taking over.
Jaws has always been really good at analysis. Don't know how he will fit in with the team, but he's got to be better than Theissman. Theisman spent the whole broadcast shooting down anything Kornheiser would say and doing it very arrogantly.

2. I hate Theisman...arrogant and dumb as a bag of hammers.
Jaws knows his shit and will be way better in the booth.

4. First Theisman. Next Costas.
Those two make MNF nearly unwatchable.

5. Costas is on Sunday night
The NBC primetime game. I agree, I could do without him. Mostly I'm disgusted that lame pregame show replaced NFL Primetime. But overall I think he's nothing special. Very competent but he never tells me anything unique and that's what I prioritize.

Jaworski, on the other hand, is great on the analysis show with Merril Hoge. I wouldn't mind the two of them pairing on live telecasts but that might be too much technical football and not enough happy talk for network preference.

7. Kornheiser and Jaws get along great -
Looks like Tony is going to be around for awhile, and that's good.
I think he's funny and he brings something different to the table.
Something funny!

No longer must sports fans be afflicted by the likes of Theismann, it may be the greatest day of the new century.

9. Tony and Jaws will be great together. They already have a div. of labor.
And Jaws will laugh at Tony's jokes.

Whew!
