Mitch Albom, Detroit sports writer and former FAN of the Broad Street Bullies, has dropped all of his Philly fansmsanship and come over to the Detroit side.

Besides, did the Broad Street Bullies have a goalie who went out and clocked Patrick Roy? I think NOT.

The Nordilanche had it coming. Ah, the good old days. Thanks, Sheed, for helping me remember. I actually think that game may have broken my brother's engagement. I think his fiancee was shocked at how bloodthirsty his family seemed.

Didn't albom write a book - Five people you meet in Upper Peninsula? Thursdays with Lisa? Okay the best game is a toss up but there is no doubt that the Flyers Uniforms are the best ever in the NHL and the Flyer fans are the worlds greatest - no contest.

As my friends will tell you, I'm never one to stray away and not back my teams when they are down. Heck, I even buy stuff that says Detroit Lions on it! Sports is about playing fair and loyalty - winning is the icing on the cake.

14. Wings/Avs, March 26, 1997

There was a big brawl, and the Wings came back to win it in OT. It led them to their first Stanley Cup in my lifetime - one of three that team would go on to earn. It was great! Even the goalies got into it.
