Any South Alabama Basketball fans out there?

John Pelphrey, who has coached at South Alabama for the past five years will head up the Arkansas program. He played at Kentucky for Sutton and Petino. Any insight into this guy would be appreciated.

I thought you were a Cardinals' fan! I can't make out your system of fandom, though I have figured out it never includes any teams from Michigan! BTW, I've always had a soft spot for the Pirates. I just bought myself a shirt when I was in Pittsburgh - one of the very few non-Michigan items of sports clothing I've ever bought.

4. I was born

in Philadelphia, lived 6 blocks from Connie Mack Stadium, and served a tour of duty in the Navy there in the 80's. Always a Philly and Eagle and Flyer Fan. I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas. I'll tell you a little secret, but don't tell anyone. I'm a big Wolverine Fan when they play the buckeyes.
