KANSAS JAYHAWKS - NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
and I ain't talking basketball.

Without a playoff, no one can argue my contention. Next weeks game does not matter. A two loss LSU team beating a so-so team from a so-so conference? OSU, a team from that so-so conference with a loss to a team from that so-so conference.

There is only one rational conclusion NOW.

Jayhawks - National Champs.

2. There' s a new rule that if you can't beat Wannstedts Pittsburgh team

7. Ouch.
The truth hurts. And don't forget South Florida, that was pretty bad too. :( OK, I'll concede WVU doesn't deserve to be the National Champ this year.

But even as sorry as we were this year, we gave a sound whuppin' to the best the Big 12 had to send. And that best team was not Kansas or Mizzou.

13. Congrats, I was surprised by the score...
...maybe your coach should have gone to Michigan a bit sooner????

14. Rich who?
That point has not been missed here. We might have won the Pitt game if Rodriguez hadn't been too busy counting his Michigan money to prepare for it. I'm pleased with the selection of Bill Stewart as our new coach.

You may take comfort in knowing you were not the only person who was surprised by the score. Had a couple of guys show up for a game party here even though everybody was pretty much snowed in. The cats repaired to the back bedrooms on account of all the noise we were making. What a game!

My BIL is a rabid OSU fan who lives near Collumbus. Mrs. Lasher and I are going to spend Monday night at his place so we can watch the national playoff game with him. Mighty long drive but it should be lots of fun.

How do you think the final top 10 rankings will look?

4. Wait...
I thought Georgia is the national champ, wait, I thought USC is the national champ, wait. WVU?Kansas?
Jeez. I say we settle this once and for all--we lock all the different teams in a room for a dodgeball tournament. Last one standing..NATIONAL CHAMPS....

5. Too bad there is no way to solve it.

You know something where the teams would play someone else. It would be...like a second round or something. I guess there is just no way to do it.

8. I am
always will be, but Kansas has a stirling record and based on this thread there is a desperate need for a playoff. The only remaining question; which SEC team will be preseason ranked number one for next year.

9. I'll agree if LSU beats OSU.
Then KU would have the best record. Right?

Man, I almost feel sorry for Missouri. When was the last time that a team had only two losses and they were from the same team?

10. Nope, Hawaii only has one loss.
If that's the way you want to count it I believe Hawaii and Kansas would be tied.
